Forbes ranks Frank VanderSloot No. 43 on list of The Greatest Self-Made Americans
Forbes Names Frank VanderSloot One of the Greatest Living Self-Made Americans

This was an email sent from Melaleuca President Cole Clinger to all Team Members in the United States.
Team,
As part of America’s 250th birthday, Forbes magazine has announced its list of the top 250 living influential persons who Forbes is calling “THE 250 GREATEST SELF-MADE AMERICANS.”
Forbes ranks Melaleuca’s Founder, Frank VanderSloot, as number 43 out of its list of 250 exceptional living Americans.
The list designates only those who are still living and began their lives disadvantaged and conquered adversity to become an individual that has had a major impact on America and the lives of Americans.
Frank is ranked 43rd on the list!
You will note that this list contains star athletes, famous movie stars, famous politicians, and other celebrities.
These celebrities have certainly had an impact on American lives. But in my opinion, very few of them have actually changed the lives of people. I feel Frank is the exception here. Always the champion of “the little guy,” Frank is on this list, not because of how well-known he is, but because of how many lives have been changed by Melaleuca.
It’s interesting to note that Forbes listed Frank ABOVE such well-known names as:
#50 Arnold Schwarzenegger
#52 Whoopi Goldberg
#60 Bruce Springsteen
#65 Barbra Streisand
#69 Stevie Wonder
#70 Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson
#84 Jerry Seinfeld
#100 Willie Nelson
#104 Serena Williams
#127 Al Pacino
#130 Cher
#185 Sylvester Stallone
#192 Daymond John
#195 Carol Burnett
#204 Mark Cuban
#231 Stephen King
#246 Barbara Corcoran
#250 Martha Stewart
Frank says his name on this list among these very famous people should not be seen as a tribute to him – but rather should be seen as a tribute to the tens of thousands of people who built the company that he founded. He notes that the only reason he is considered to having had an impact on Americans is because of those leaders who joined him on his mission to enhance lives. He notes that he would not be on this list – or any other list – if it were not for them.
