Idaho National Guard Presents Melaleuca with Certificate of Appreciation and Unit Shield

Shield and Certificate: Idaho National Guard leaders honor Melaleuca with a Certificate of Appreciation and the unit’s “Whenever, Wherever” shield for outstanding support.
Melaleuca’s commitment to supporting those who serve in the US military was recognized during a special event with members of the Idaho Army National Guard’s 148th Field Artillery Regiment and their families. The gathering highlighted the strong relationship between Melaleuca and the soldiers it proudly supports.
Command Sergeant Major (CSM) Bobby Earley and Captain Stephen Malloy formally presented Melaleuca with a Certificate of Appreciation on Dec. 7, 2025, in recognition of the company’s “extraordinary support and friendship to the Soldiers and [their] families.”
In addition to the certificate, the soldiers shared a meaningful symbol of that partnership: a beautiful crest bearing the unit’s shield and the words “Whenever * Wherever.”
The crest was specifically offered as a token of unity between the 148th Field Artillery and Melaleuca: The Wellness Company.
CSM Earley explained that the presentation represented the bond that has grown between the two organizations. It serves as a reminder that support for service members extends beyond uniforms and deployments and is strengthened through relationships rooted in mutual respect.
“Melaleuca has shown time and again that they care about the people behind the uniform,” CSM Earley said. “They unexpectedly donated 50 hams and turkeys last Christmas in addition to big boxes of chocolates for every soldier. They have provided tickets to community events and even sponsored our unit ball so our spouses could be celebrated. And now they have given dozens of Christmas gifts to military children. Words of support are always appreciated, but Melaleuca has proven through their actions that they stand beside our soldiers and their families.”

Following these recognitions, Melaleuca Vice President of Public Relations Tony Lima addressed the soldiers and their families with heartfelt remarks. He expressed gratitude not only to those in uniform, but also to the family members whose sacrifices often go unseen.
He acknowledged that the strength of every service member is made possible by the support, patience, and resilience of the loved ones who stand beside them.
Lima also mentioned that the narrated soundtrack that accompanies the annual Melaleuca Freedom Celebration, which is the largest fireworks show west of the Mississippi—always draws special attention to the families of service members. He wanted them to be aware of this tradition, ensuring that every family member receives their moment of tribute and honor from the community.
CSM Earley and Captain Malloy then invited Tony to take part in one of the most meaningful moments of the evening. Together, they distributed Christmas gifts to the children in attendance.
A Tradition of Respect and Support
Events like this reflect Melaleuca’s long-standing commitment to honoring the men and women who serve our country, along with the families who play their own important role in that service. By building genuine relationships with local military units, the company continues to demonstrate that community support is not a one-time gesture, but an ongoing promise.
Melaleuca is proud to stand alongside those who serve whenever and wherever they are needed!
