ESGR: Seven Seals Award

Melaleuca Receives Seven Seals Award

The U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) presented Melaleuca with the prestigious Seven Seals Award on July 4, 2015, during the Melaleuca Freedom Celebration. The award recognizes Melaleuca for its patriotism and unwavering commitment to the United States military.

Specifically, the award recognizes Melaleuca for its initiative and exemplary leadership in supporting American servicemen and servicewomen in the National Guard and Reserve.

Melaleuca was chosen for the honor by the DOD’s Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). The Seven Seals Award is regarded as the most inclusive and broadest ESGR recognition.

The ESGR singled out Melaleuca not only for going above and beyond in its continuing support of the Idaho men and women who serve in the military, but also for its public recognition of the sacrifices made by our nation’s soldiers and veterans.

Melaleuca fittingly accepted the award at the 23rd annual Melaleuca Freedom Celebration. The event, which includes the nation’s largest fireworks display west of the Mississippi River, was founded as a meaningful tribute to past and present soldiers, as well as their families.

During the awards ceremony, Idaho’s ESGR public affairs director, George Hames, called Melaleuca a military-friendly company for its commitment to our nation’s soldiers.
