Forbes: America’s Best Brands for Value, #2

Out of Millions of Companies, Forbes Named Melaleuca the #2 Best Brand for Value in America

Melaleuca Forbes Best Brands for Value

Forbes has named Melaleuca the No. 2 Best Brand for Value in America on its 2026 Best Brands for Value list, placing Melaleuca ahead of virtually every brand in the country and second only to Costco.

To create the list, Forbes hired national research firm HundredX to determine which brands consumers believe offer the best value in America. The research was based on 4.7 million ratings from more than 160,000 consumers, who reviewed more than 5,500 brands between June 2025 and May 2026.

Out of millions of companies, the research identified 5,500 brands. Of those, only 300 made Forbes’ final list. Melaleuca ranked No. 2, ahead of household names including Toyota, Trader Joe’s, Lands’ End, USAA, Apple and Sam’s Club.

That ranking places Melaleuca in rare company. Across every category Forbes measured, only Costco ranked higher for overall value.

A Recognition Rooted in Customer Experience

The Forbes ranking reflects consumer perceptions of value: quality for the price. As Forbes explained in introducing the list, consumers ultimately look for products that are “worth it.”

For Melaleuca, the recognition is especially meaningful because it aligns with what the company has emphasized since its founding: products that deliver quality, effectiveness and affordability.

In a news story accompanying the list, Forbes journalist John Schroyer wrote that “Melaleuca may not yet be a household name, but its line of wellness products has spent four decades slowly but surely changing that by focusing on both quality and affordability — in that order.”

Forbes stated “that philosophy has led not only to broad customer trust in Melaleuca, but also to its No. 2 ranking on this year’s Forbes Best Brands for Value list.”

Exceptional Products at Reasonable Prices

The recognition points back to Melaleuca’s founding axiom: Exceptional Products at Reasonable Prices.

“Melaleuca’s founding axiom is ‘exceptional products at reasonable prices,’ and that has forced us to think differently from the beginning,” wrote Frank VanderSloot, Melaleuca Founder and Executive Chairman, to the Forbes journalist. “We are not trying to make the cheapest product on the shelf. We are trying to make a better product than what is on the shelf and deliver it at a reasonable price so families can use it every day.”

In this research, Forbes defined value as having the best quality at the best price. That definition closely reflects Melaleuca’s long-standing approach to products.

“When it comes to wellness products, people don’t want cheaper,” Frank wrote. “They want better. They want effective products they can trust to make them healthier.”

A Growing Pattern of National Awards

The Forbes Best Brands for Value ranking is one of 10 recent national awards for Melaleuca. As Frank has said, Melaleuca is being discovered.

TIME has named Melaleuca one of America’s best private companies.

U.S. News & World Report has ranked Melaleuca one of the best employers in America. That recognition follows four Forbes Best Midsize Employers honors and Melaleuca’s recognition as one of the best companies for women to work.

USA Today recently placed Melaleuca on its list of the Most Trusted Brands. And just a few months before that, it ranked Melaleuca as one of America’s Best Stores.

In each case, national media organizations hired reputable research firms to determine the results. The recognitions were based on independent research, not paid submissions or company nominations. Melaleuca learned of the research only after the results were determined.

At its core, the Forbes ranking reflects the same idea that has guided Melaleuca from the beginning: value is not only about what something costs, but what it delivers.

“Most people think value means paying less,” Frank wrote. “We think it means receiving more.”
